Today, the highly anticipated 2025 Asian Robotics Intelligent Sensing System Application Conference successfully concluded its first day at the Kempinski Hotel Shenzhen. Themed "Intelligent Sensing and Robotics Evolutionary Symbiosis," the conference brought together industry experts, association leaders, and corporate representatives from 13 countries and regions around the world, providing a high-level, in-depth platform for technical exchange and industrial collaboration. The event featured not only practical and insightful discussions but also a variety of dynamic interactive activities, allowing attendees to immerse themselves in the excitement of the industry.

At 10:00 AM, leaders from the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and representatives from various international industry associations arrived at the conference. The host enthusiastically declared the conference open and invited Secretary-General Xu of the Guangdong Electronic Information Industry Association, the organizer, to deliver an opening speech.

Secretary-General Xu said in his speech:
"Currently, the global technological revolution is surging. The deep integration of artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, 5G, and edge computing is reshaping the industrial landscape. Smart sensors, as the 'sensory organs' of robots, are the core cornerstone for promoting the implementation of scenarios such as intelligent manufacturing, human-machine collaboration, and smart living." He also emphasized that China, with a market size of 143 billion yuan, an average annual growth rate of 11.5%, and over 74,000 robotics companies in Shenzhen, has become a key engine of global intelligent manufacturing. Through keynote speeches, cutting-edge exhibitions, and in-depth discussions, the conference will address industry pain points and promote collaborative development. The conference calls on global industry chain partners to adopt an open, innovative, and pragmatic attitude to jointly lead the industry to new heights.
On-site interactive highlights: Pre-booking consultation for next year's exhibition booths, and check-in lucky draws to add fun
A dedicated "2026 Asia Smart Sensor and Application Technology Expo Booth Reservation Information Desk" was set up at the conference site, attracting the attention of many companies with long-term exhibition plans. Starting at 9:00 AM, representatives from participating companies stopped by to inquire about next year's exhibition date, exhibition area layout, booth fees, and partnership benefits. Some companies also filled out interest registration forms on the spot. Mr. Wen, General Manager of Skyworth Group's Business Department, stated, "We are very satisfied with the conference's agenda, guest lineup, and exchange atmosphere. We would like to learn about next year's booth availability in advance to facilitate future exhibition planning." Staff members provided clear answers to inquiries using brochures and simple flow charts. The orderly atmosphere at the event demonstrated the companies' continued interest in the industry exhibition.

During the intermission, the conference offered attendees a relaxing "On-site Check-in and Prize Draw" session. Participants simply had to take a photo at a designated check-in point, share it on social media, collect a certain number of likes, and show it to staff for a chance to win a prize. Prizes primarily consisted of practical gifts, including custom pens and 3D-printed figurines. After completing the check-in, Li, a graduate student from a university, won a 3D-printed IN trendy toy. She smiled and said, "The check-in and prize draw was easy, the prizes were beautiful, and the process was thrilling." The constant flow of attendees participating in the check-in process provided a welcome respite from the conference's fatigue.

The keynote speech was full of practical information, and the guest interviews were full of highlights.
In the morning's keynote speeches, leaders from associations from various countries around the world provided in-depth insights and discussed global trends: John Tay, Chief Strategy Officer of the Malaysian Internet of Things Association, analyzed the Malaysian IoT and AI market and industrial opportunities in Southeast Asia; Milan Tamang, Secretary-General of the Nepal Robotics Association, introduced the latest progress in smart city construction and drone applications; Suthat Krongchon, Chairman of the Thailand Internet of Things Association, presented the development path of Thailand's robotics ecosystem through case studies; and Jacques Eone, President of the Cameroon Robotics Association, shared Africa's strategic thinking in the context of inclusive growth.
The afternoon session featured engaging presentations from renowned experts and business representatives from both China and abroad. Zhang Jianwei, a foreign academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, opened the event with a speech titled "Multimodal Perception in General Embodied Intelligence," delving into cutting-edge AI technologies. Ata Jahangir Moshayedi, an associate professor at Jiangxi University of Science and Technology, discussed the design of ergonomic assistive robots. Fudan University associate professor Ge Weifeng presented "Embodied Intelligence: A New Frontier Towards General Artificial Intelligence." Subsequently, researcher Li Xinming of South China Normal University and professor Zhu Yongjian of Shenzhen University of Technology presented in-depth presentations on topics such as "Design and Application of Artificial Tactile Perception Systems" and "Research on Visual Plant Disease Detection Technology Using Agricultural Robots in Complex Backgrounds."
The corporate segment was equally exciting: Ubiquity Robotics CEO David Crawley and Pasini Perception Technology demonstrated flexible electronics-based tactile sensor technology; Shenzhen-based company Wonderchang Innovation Intelligence Co., Ltd. focused on innovative applications of warehouse robots; and SICK, a leading international sensor company, shared its innovative solutions for complex industrial scenarios.
